Born in &lt;?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /&gt;&lt;st1:country-region w:st="on"&gt;Germany&lt;/st1:country-region&gt;, she graduated from &lt;ST1&lt;IMG border="0" src="http://scitechwaves.net/emoticons/tongue.png" /&gt;Georg-August &lt;/ST1&lt;IMG border="0" src="http://scitechwaves.net/emoticons/tongue.png" /&gt;University&lt;/ST1&lt;IMG border="0" src="http://scitechwaves.net/emoticons/tongue.png" /&gt; with a MS in Biology and then came to the &lt;st1:place w:st="on"&gt;&lt;ST1&lt;IMG border="0" src="http://scitechwaves.net/emoticons/tongue.png" /&gt;University &lt;/ST1&lt;IMG border="0" src="http://scitechwaves.net/emoticons/tongue.png" /&gt;of &lt;ST1&lt;IMG border="0" src="http://scitechwaves.net/emoticons/tongue.png" /&gt;California Los Angeles &lt;/ST1&lt;IMG border="0" src="http://scitechwaves.net/emoticons/tongue.png" /&gt;&lt;/st1:place&gt;where she completed a PhD in sociocultural anthropology.&amp;nbsp;Since living in &lt;st1:country-region w:st="on"&gt;Guatemala&lt;/st1:country-region&gt;, she has continued to research, write, and advocate for Guatemalan women especially those&amp;nbsp;migrating to the &lt;st1:place w:st="on"&gt;&lt;st1:country-region w:st="on"&gt;United States&lt;/st1:country-region&gt;&lt;/st1:place&gt;. She is a very caring psychologist who has made great advances in the understanding of AgCC. She is a senior research fellow at the California Institute of Technology and collaborates with the Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena and University of California San Francisco. She is the president of the non-profit National Organization of the Corpus Callosum &lt;A href="http://www.nodcc.com/"&gt;www.NODCC.com&lt;/A&gt;. 		<content type="html">&lt;DIV&gt;Dr. Simon Balm is a&amp;nbsp;passionate and distinguished&amp;nbsp;astronomer and physical chemist specializing in the chemical composition of the universe. He was raised near London, England and received a doctorate in physical chemistry&amp;nbsp;from the University of Sussex. He was awarded a NATO scholarship for a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles. He subsequently joined the Harvard and Smithsonian Institute team to build and place a radio telescope at the South Pole. Dr. Balm relates his incredible experiences at the South Pole where he lived for one year. Dr.&amp;nbsp;Balm has visited Antarctica many times and also&amp;nbsp;teaches astronomy and chemistry at Santa Monica College. &lt;A href="http://www.smc.edu/"&gt;www.smc.edu&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</content>
